I took this while driving to my parents house a little over a week ago. The picture is taken from the side of 40 Mile Rd. just south of Marysville, CA.
So to speak... I found this one way in the back of my hard drive all covered with dust. This was taken during a thunder storm in north Chico in August of 2008.
I just recently returned from a climbing trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park... While I was there I, of course, took some pictures... I hope you like them.
I just wanted to post some pictures of my recent climbing adventures. Of course I was the one behind the camera for most of them. My friend Ryan was of course more than happy to pose for a few. enjoy
This is a edited version of the palm tree firework from my last post. The only change made was using the auto levels correction in Photoshop... AND IT TURNED BLUE!!! I thought it was a really cool change so here it is. What do you think?
I captured these shots last year in Mt. Shasta on the fourth of July. Believe It or not these are pictures of the fireworks over Lake Siskiyou. And other than cropping to size none of them have been altered. I have really enjoyed these images and I hope you will too.
My photography class took a trip up to Redding about a week ago to take pictures of the sundial bridge and the nearby gardens. This is the first batch of pictures from that trip.
Hello, my name is John. I live in Chico, CA but grew up in the foothills along Hwy 50 east of Sacramento, CA. I spent a couple of years living on California's Central Coast in between, but am happy to once again be living near the mountains. I had always loved taking pictures but my real love for photography has only come out in the last couple years. I am currently taking a digital photography course at Butte College and have learned a lot this semester. I'm not sure yet, where I want to go with my photography, so for now I am just trying things out and seeing where things go from there. I appreciate any feedback that anyone has about my images, or anything else for that matter. Feel free to contact me anytime. My e-mail is linkhartphotography@gmail.com. Thank you and I hope you like my images.
